Requirements for Applying

Please attach current resume and any certifications that qualifies you for this position. Please refer to the job description for job duties and requirements necessary to apply for this position. Education: • Certificate/degree from an accredited college, university or trade school in computer science, business information systems, or a closely related field. Verifiable experience may be substituted on a year for year basis (not to exceed two (2) years). • Successful completion of courses in repairing desktop computers, monitors, printers, modems and other peripheral devices in the armed forces, equipment manufacturer's training program and/or recognized trade school/college/university may be substituted (at the district's discretion) on an equal-time basis for the required experience. Experience: • Seven (7) years of experience as a Desktop Support Technician or equivalent position where the majority of tasks, duties and responsibilities were performed as outlined above, which includes diagnosing, evaluating, repairing and support complex computer/server issues. • Demonstrated high level of customer service with public. Licenses or Certificates Needed: • Possession a valid California Driver's License. Candidates must provide (and maintain) official motor vehicle driving record, and proof of compliance with district safe driving standards. • A+ Certification, preferred.

Per contract agreement, current employees will be considered first for vacant positions.
