Job Description

Publicis Sapient New York is looking to add a freelance Senior Designer who can help us execute cutting-edge design thinking for one of today's top automotive clients. Someone who's fast, collaborative, and who's bread and butter is creating emotive and compelling work for digital experiences. A passion for design, detail, and pixel-perfect execution is a must. A passion for cars plus luxury autmotive experience is required.

Responsible for digital concept development and execution of creative deliverables for creative projects and brand campaigns, including creating and communicating concepts, implementing marketing strategies and developing interactive design solutions in the context of digital business transformation. Work with a creative team of designers and other production specialists. Create comps using Sketch, storyboards, initial concepts and final deliverables. Partner with Delivery, Digital Product Managers, User Experience and Technology at different levels to ensure the concept meets the creative brief and program and business objectives. Consider the technology requirements and design a solution that complements the technical strategy and/or partner with the Technology staff to overcome implementation obstacles. Must present to clients on a weekly basis. Lastly, must be extremely detail oriented.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Interactive Design, Fine Arts or related field and 4+ years of experience in interactive design, art direction, or related occupation.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

At least several years' experience in the following software: Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite. Framer X a plus.

* At least 4 years of experience:
* As Senior Designer for a large scale luxury brands specifically automotive
* Working with Creative and UX leads to define digital project goals and translating them to concepts and designs
* Understanding and executing the latest technology in user interface and visual design

Developing rapid prototypes using InVision, Axure or Framer X.

Experience in:

* Visual content creation for an automotive luxury brand including 3d assets, video, still photography and animations
* Animation design and storyboarding
* Analyzing site metrics and data for a luxury brand
* Agile methodology
* Optimizing balance between user experience, site architecture, and CMS
* Auditing competing sites in the luxury brand space
* Working with a QA team to refine and finalize digital executions
* Working with JIRA and Confluence
* Applying HTML, CSS and Javascript to work with front end and back end developers a plus
