NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior Database Administrator to join our team in Rockville, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).

Duties

Provides technical leadership and acts a technical resource and mentor to junior staff performing backup and restore. Performs daily backup and restore administration, maintenance, troubleshooting and monitoring functions. Works on critical backup and restore related projects. Troubleshoots issues with regards to backup and restore environments as well as providing design and architecture input into future installations. Performs upgrades and migrations for backup and restore hardware and software. Monitors and develops reports for backups and restores in reference to performance as well as usage and trends analysis. Directs junior backup and restore administration staff. Is self directed and can perform with little or no management supervision. Directs and supervises Junior Backup Administration staff. Performs additional back and restore related duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

BS Education Requirement

6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience
