Job Description

This role is responsible for the following:

* SQL database management & Tableau Server support lead related to the sales team analytic reporting platform; including but not limited to creating and scheduling of SQL agent jobs and stored procedures; Ad-hoc query development
* Conduct timely and accurate month end SQL database and Tableau Server processes while maintaining frame work; including database tasks and system reconciliations
* Maintain monthly customer hierarchy updates between SAP and SQL
* Manage Tableau report enhancement development process by collaborating with the multiple cross-functional teams (Sales, Sales Effectiveness, IT, etc.)
* Identify and lead process improvement initiatives focused on improving the end user experience and system work flow
* Provide 2nd level support to Data Analyst (Sales Effectiveness team) regarding Tableau visualization calculations, connections, filters, charts, dashboards, etc.
* Collaborate with enterprise focused teams to migrate current business data warehouse to an enterprise focused warehouse
* Partner with enterprise focused IT teams to evaluate, analyze, and develop innovative data warehouse solutions and tableau front end reporting tools for recently integrated business unit sales teams and leaders
* Create custom SQL logic to ensure efficient use of database and application servers
* Analyze and resolve SQL and Tableau Server issues
* Update standard operating procedures and general "use" guides as requirements evolve

Minimum Requirements

6+ years experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems

Critical Skills

* +3 years of standard SQL query language experience
* +3 years of Tableau experience
* +3 years of finance or other business function analytics experience

Additional Skills

* General Financial close procedure knowledge
* Experience with SAP, BW/COPA, SFDC
* Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
* Excellent problem solving and process improvement skills
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
* Ability to learn and strengthen skills in technical systems with little to no guidance

Education

4-year degree with an emphasis in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics
