Responsibilities

Raytheon is seeking expertise to conduct end-to-end security risk assessments of the Sponsor's enterprise systems. Sponsor is seeking expertise to assist with investigative efforts, conduct network traffic analysis, support focused network architecture reviews, assess data pertaining to network intrusions and/or cyber related attacks on Sponsor equities, and assess Sponsor's technologies. This work includes but not limited to:

* Analyze IP network topologies for security, technical and operational vulnerabilities and risk.
* Conduct network or networking technology assessments as well as security assessments of network and systems topologies and write assessment reports based on findings.
* Review audit logs, configurations of IP-based network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, OWT and IOT appliances for security policy and deployment guideline compliance, operating system and security patch updates, configuration baseline.
* Support external customer projects by providing network engineering and cyber analytic expertise and guidance to ensure the projects comply with Sponsor policy and regulation.
* Provide recommendations to architecture and design reviews.
* Provide insight into latest threats and countermeasures
* Evaluate network operations using network management platforms, auditing functions, and log reviews.
* Review procurement processes of hardware, software and services to comply with Sponsor needs.
* Attend Working Groups and Customer meetings.
* Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
* Provide recommendations for end-to-end technical analysis.

The Contractor team shall be required to have expertise in the following technologies:

* Experience working on TCP/IP networking projects and demonstrated experience with network security principles.
* Experience with planning, configuration, implementation and maintenance of IP network products including routers, switches, wireless networking, VPN's, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, OWT appliances.
* Hands-on experience with one or more of the following operating systems - Cisco iOS, NXOS, JunOS.
* Demonstrated experience with communications protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, MPLS, OPSF, IGRP, BGP.
* Knowledge and experience with encryption products, methodologies, configuration.
* Knowledge and experience with Network Packet Capture Appliances/Applications, such as Netwitness, Solera, Probe, Wireshark, Snort.
* Knowledge and experience with Network Vulnerability Scanner, Web Scanner, and Database Scanner (such as Nessus, WebInspect, AppDetective).
* Experience with Network Management products (such as HP OpenView, Solarwind).
* Experience with Anonymous/Privacy Internet capabilities and supporting network architecture.
* Experience with Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) programs (such as CAD or Visio).
* Certifications:
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
* Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional, Juniper NCSP, or Juniper NCP
* Amazon Cloud Service Certification or similar cloud certification



A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is desired. Alternatives to a technical degree are a combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. It is also desired each contractor team member have at least five years of network/cyber security/system engineering experience in Sponsor or Sponsor's partners environment. Other demonstrated experiences which are highly desired, though not required, include:

* Knowledge of Telephony Systems and VoIP
* EMC, NetApp or other mass storage experience
* Virtualized Platform (VMware) experience
* Experience with Windows Server (2008R2/2012R2), Windows Workstation (7/8.1), Linux (Redhat/Debian), and OSX operating systems
* Provide recommendations to architecture and design reviews
* Experience working in commercial sector and a firm understanding of business legal structures and business operations (contracts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, business banking, procurement processes, logistics).
* Interface with vendors and third party producers
* One of more of the following Certifications:
* Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
* Project Management Professional (PMP)
* VMWare Certified Professional vSphere 5 (VCP5)
* EMC, NetApp or similar certification
* Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
* Red Hat Certified Security Specialist (RHCSS)
* Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
* Ethical Hacker
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
