Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Secaucus,

NJ seeks a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to provide security solution and

technology subject matter expertise for the development and implementation of

high quality security information, event management, and cyber security

operations. Develop and document solution processes, procedures, and

information workflows for security event management and cyber security

operations. Address network concerns relating to proxies, network access

control firewalls, and intrusion prevention. Monitor and respond to security

events that could impact the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of

critical information security systems using routing and switching. Provide

training, mentoring, and coaching to the IT Security Team by understanding the

core businesses and environment as well as the technology solutions supporting

them. Develop and publish key metrics to illustrate value and accountability.

Correlate threat intelligence with active attacks and vulnerabilities within

the enterprise. Analyze security events collected by the Security Incident and

Event Management (SIEM), and identify trends, attacks, and potential threats.

Provide technical expertise and work with other information security teams in a

consulting capacity. Monitor incident response and serve as an ambassador for

the team across the Company. Maintain a current knowledge of information

security vulnerabilities, threats, and exploits.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Systems

Engineering or closely related technical field, plus five years of

progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in cyber security using

routing and switching; and managing network concerns relating to proxies,

network access control, firewalls, intrusion prevention, and Security Incident
