Come join the Cyber Resiliency Engineering team! As part of this team, you will work with others researching and applying cutting edge cyber security solutions to protect our nation's networks and computer systems from advanced threats.

As a part of the Cyber Resilience Department you are focused on delivering high quality technical products to our customers. You are engaged in applying cyber resiliency frameworks/methods to solve our sponsors hard problems and applying your analytical skills to tackle the biggest cyber security challenges that the Government faces.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop, guide, and contribute to a wide range of high-impact work across MITRE's work program. The candidate will be expected to effectively engage portfolio and program leadership as well as external sponsors in helping to strengthen and grow the division and department work program. The successful candidate will have demonstrated a high degree of technical expertise while engaging in research exploration and program development focused on sponsor missions.

Key Functions:

* Work with government sponsors to identify and define their critical cyber resiliency challenges
* Develop data-driven technical products to outline recommended solutions in a clear and concise manner
* Propose innovative concepts and solutions and lead teams to instantiate those concepts;
* Provide technical leadership to support sponsor missions;
* Possess motivation to expand knowledge and willingness to take risks to explore new opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

* BS and 5 years related experience
* Strong knowledge of advanced cyber threats and adversary methodologies
* Ability to develop new ideas and techniques for advancing the practice of cyber resiliency
* Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
* Obtain and maintain a Top Secret level security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

* Architectural and Operational Vulnerability Analysis
* Incident Analysis / Response
* Threats, Vectors, Methods, Attacks and Countermeasures
* Red Team and/or Pen Testing Experience
* Digital Forensics
* Cyber Threat Intelligence
* Live Network Analysis (wireshark, snort, bro, etc)
