Who we're looking for

The TFS Information Security Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Sr. Cyber Defense & Intelligence Consultant.

The Sr. Cyber Defense & Intelligence Consultant will be responsible for the Threat Intelligence, Endpoint Security and Security Monitoring programs. These programs are critical to the Cyber security success of Toyota Financial Services and are necessary to continue overall maturity as threats become more prolific and advanced. A high-level breakdown of the program responsibilities is as follows:

* The Threat Intelligence programs purpose is to discover threats affecting Toyota. The role will establish intelligence programs internationally and provide maturity to a global intelligence network.
* The Endpoint Security programs purpose is to protect TFS physical and virtual computing assets from Cyber Threats. The role can expect to advocate and recommend program development, partake in global deployment activities, and support enhancements to the platform(s).
* The Security Monitoring program is highly focused around continuous monitoring of assets and network activities. The role will be expected to engage in senior level analysis & response to cyber security incidents, direct and prioritize the logging of valuable sources, and own process enhancements to Security Operations Center procedures.

Each program requires tactical and strategic activities to support a short and long term vision of which are expected to be conducted through planning, business partner and supplier supervision, and operational performance metrics. A high degree of technical and enterprise knowledge and experience is required to contribute to reducing, remediating and preventing negative Cyber Threats from the Toyota Financial Services, Global Affiliates and the Toyota brand.

What you'll be doing

* Develop and solicit buy-in on the multi-year roadmap for Endpoint, Threat Intelligence & Network Monitoring programs within the Global Security Shared Services
* Responsible for executing security strategies for Endpoint, Threat Intelligence & Network Monitoring programs
* Define key performance measurements and ensure successful implementation to the responsible programs
* Recommend and get buy-in on program enhancements based on a high degree of technical knowledge, risk analysis, best practices and needs of the business
* Collaborate with international Security & IT personnel to solicit, collect and define requirements for the ongoing improvements & development of Security Shared Services
* Monitor software license and subscription usage for compliance & growth in responsible programs; provide cost savings and consolidation recommendations where applicable
* Provide Tier/Level 3 security incident investigation & triage relying on a broad knowledge of cyber threats and analytical skills
* Monitor and maintain supplier relationships and performances supporting the Endpoint, Threat Intelligence & Network Monitoring programs
* Interface with technical and non-technical business units to understand and translate requirements to effectively manage expectations
* Recommend and implement enhancements to Security Operations Center (SOC) processes to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and ensure documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are updated accordingly.
* Own and fulfil the Technical Lead role in Security Projects related to the responsible programs
* Advise international affiliated TFS company Security and IT personnel on program best practices in the responsible program areas.
* Provide technical expertise to TFS and international affiliate companies security and IT personnel when needed as it relates to Security Shared Services or investigation and triage efforts
* Maintain situational and industry awareness of Cyber Threats affecting/potentially targeting Toyota industries
* Monitor and Analyze KPI reports, communicate areas requiring attention of responsible programs
* Aid and mentor junior personnel to foster growth through knowledge transfer and performance gains within the department
* Contribute to the maintenance & enhancements of Cyber Security Maturity models for responsible programs through engagements with industry peers, internal stakeholders, international affiliates, and defined strategy

What you bring

* Four-Year College Degree (BA or BS)
* Extensive years of relevant work experience (in similar field and/or industry)
* Security Incident and Event (SIEM) Experience (such as, but not limited to, Deployment, Configuration, Administration, Migration, etc.) using software such as IBM Qradar, Splunk, ArcSight, LogRhythm, etc.
* Endpoint Security Experience (such as, but not limited to, Deployment, Configuration, Administration, Migration, etc.) using software such as McAfee ENS, Symantec SEP, Crowdstrike FalconHost, Cylance Protect, etc.
* Threat Intelligence Experience (such as, but not limited to, Deployment, Configuration, Administration, Migration, etc.) using services such as FireEye, FS-ISAC, RiskIQ, ThreatConnect, Anomali, etc.
* Experience with large enterprise environments
* Demonstrated strong attention to detail, documentation and organizational skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to collaborate in a team setting, as well as work independently.

Added Bonus if you have

* Advanced Degree: MS Computer Science
* CISSP or equivalent, or GIAC, CEH, Security certifications
* Data Modeling & Visualization Experience (e.g. Tableau, ElasticSearch, PowerBI)
* Programming Experience (e.g. Java, C , C#, Python)
