Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Austin, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Leveraging analytics, robotics, and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, creating and managing large-scale organizational intelligence, and generating insights that catalyze growth and efficiencies. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluating clients' technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for client engagements. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Developing dashboard wireframes and designing requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Developing and maintaining project deliverables for clients for all phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build the system functionalities. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Researching user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Delivering Data Warehousing and Analytics solutions utilizing SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, Tableau, and Business Objects reporting tools. Assisting in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (BIDW) solution architect for clients across consumer products, e-commerce, and healthcare industries. Providing insights into businesses using statistical tools and data modeling of relational databases SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and Big Data tools, Mongo DB and Cassandra. Utilizing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and Agile processes to deliver projects across different phases of implementation, including vision, planning, requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and the deployment phase. Delivering management reporting solutions to clients using Business Objects, QlikView and Tableau. Utilizing Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) language to code business intelligence modeling solutions using SAP BW. Designing and developing databases using Star and Snowflake Schema. Utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL) for the Extraction Transformation and Load (ETL) processes.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
* Delivering Data Warehousing and Analytics solutions utilizing SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, Tableau, and Business Objects reporting tools;


* Assisting in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (BIDW) solution architect for clients across consumer products, e-commerce, and healthcare industries;


* Providing insights into businesses using statistical tools and data modeling of relational databases SAP BW and Big Data tools, Mongo DB and Cassandra;


* Utilizing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and Agile processes to deliver projects across different phases of implementation, including vision, planning, requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and the deployment phase;


* Delivering management reporting solutions to clients using Business Objects, QlikView and Tableau;


* Utilizing ABAP language to code business intelligence modeling solutions using SAP BW;


* Designing and developing databases using Star and Snowflake Schema;


* Utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL) for the Extraction Transformation and Load (ETL) processes.




* 80% travel required.
