Position Title: Senior Consultant

DUTIES: Develop, create, and modify computer applications software and specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Modify existing software to correct errors, or to improve its performance. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Determine system performance standards. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance. Modify technical training material under the guidance of Technical Strategists and train clients on application configuration and user security setup in the HCM modules. Gather business requirements, analyze and interpret these requirements, and translate them into functional and technical designs. Support projects by providing planning estimates and by facilitating cross-functional communication with stakeholders, leads, and developers. Implement Infor software solutions, SaaS offerings in an agile environment for clients across multiple industry sectors including healthcare, government, education. Configure applications and security running on Infor Landmark Technology and LPL coding. Work with technical strategists to gather development specifications. Report to project managers and technical leads with status updates and reports. Consult on technical issue resolution and debugging application configurations. Travel and work at various, unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. as assigned. Telecommuting permitted up to 25%.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, information technology or a related field and two (2) years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Would also accept a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, information technology or a related field; and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience in the job offered, or in a related position. Candidate must have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following: software development, system administration, installation and technical configuration of products; and detailed implementation planning and coordination; implementing saas offerings in an agile environment; customizing web applications using full stack web development technologies (html, css, javascript, and jquery); developing business process automation workflows using sql tools; programing process automation, data manipulation and interfacing scripts (sql, java, javascript, perl, and cobol); multiple data management systems and clean, format data for migration and interfacing (mysql and oracle); performing unit testing and supporting functional testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing; and designing and developing reports, interfaces, enhancements, and workflows. Travel and work at various, unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. as assigned. Telecommuting permitted up to 25%.
