Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Operations, SAP in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Driving business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of SAP software solutions. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Functioning as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Conducting workshop requirement gathering sessions, identifying common processes and country specific needs and identifying and mapping solution areas to business processes. Illustrating the integration across functionality to perform top-down design and validate the overall solution and facilitating systematic walk-throughs of end-to-end processes. Preparing necessary workshop agendas for FI (Financial Accounting) organizational structure, Chart of Accounts and General Ledger (GL) master data, FI month-end processing, Vendor Master Data, vendor invoice processing and payment processing, Customer Master Data, customer invoice processing, payment processing and banking. Working on report painter and report writer and developing profit and loss reports at an account level to replicate for business planning and forecasting purposes. Creating versions, customizing programs to upload and generate a budget using actual and planned allocations. Providing functional specifications for Reports, Interfaces and Enhancements. Creating Asset Classes, Asset Accounts, validating the depreciation logic calculation by month-end and year-end transaction data. Conducting data migration using LSMW and mass load using Windshuttle tools. Testing SAP ERP using HPQC.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
* Conducting workshop requirement gathering sessions, identifying common processes and country specific needs and identifying and mapping solution areas to business processes;


* Illustrating the integration across functionality to perform top-down design and validate the overall solution and facilitating systematic walk-throughs of end-to-end processes;


* Preparing necessary workshop agendas for FI (Financial Accounting) organizational structure, Chart of Accounts and General Ledger (GL) master data, FI month-end processing, Vendor Master Data, vendor invoice processing and payment processing, Customer Master Data, customer invoice processing, payment processing and banking;
