Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Operations, SAP in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Driving business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of SAP software solutions. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for client engagements. Developing dashboard wireframes and designing requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Developing and maintaining project deliverables for clients for all phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build the system functionalities. Researching user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools; coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Designing sub-components of larger application systems. Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle for the design, development and implementation of SAP solutions for enterprise-level clients. Analyzing current-state client systems and conducting workshops to gather requirements for the configuration and design of SAP modules, including CRM, Hybris Billing, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP HR, Data Migration and Quality Management. Reviewing existing SAP system landscapes and infrastructures and mapping, analyzing and redesigning systems to improve efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction in subscription-based business models within CRM and SAP ERP modules. Conducting system studies and requirements workshops with client business teams to propose and develop solutions, frameworks and methodologies to address specific client needs, including Order-to-Cash and Offer-to-Cash challenges, CRM functionalities and challenges in data migration from legacy to new system landscapes. Interfacing directly with clients throughout engagement lifecycles and creating engagement scope statements resulting from technical and functional requirement analysis. Performing unit, user acceptance and integration testing of SAP solutions and reporting testing results to internal and client stakeholders using HP QualityCenter, eCATT and Jira. Identifying out-of-scope client requests, documenting and managing change request processes and designing, developing and implementing change request components in existing engagement activities. Participating in and coordinating the activities of onshore and offshore resources for the design, development and unit testing of complex objects of SAP modules using SAP ABAP, Web UI and SAP FIORI.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
* Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle for the design, development and implementation of SAP solutions for enterprise-level clients;


* Analyzing current-state client systems and conducting workshops to gather requirements for the configuration and design of SAP modules, including CRM, Hybris Billing, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP HR, Data Migration and Quality Management;
