Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Operations, SAP in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Driving business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of SAP software solutions. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluating clients' technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Liaising with business analysts and end users to gather and analyze business requirements and prototyping and developing system requirements, testing built solutions, and support system implementation. Designing, implementing and developing custom solutions on SAP systems SAP ECC, SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) and SAP HANA. Developing ABAP objects classical reports, ABAP List Viewer (ALV), table controls and module pool programming and implementing Interface developments using Application Link Enabling and Electronic Data Interchange (ALE/EDI), and Intermediate Document (IDoc). Enhancing standard objects using Enhancement Spots, User Exits, Screen Exits, business add-in (BADI), Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI). Developing HANA artifacts calculation views, analytical views, attribute views and HANA procedures. Using SAP recommended best practices, methods and procedures to create technology solutions of moderately complex business problems. Developing descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytical reports, ad-hoc queries, dashboards for operational and management reporting at an enterprise scale. Troubleshooting system performance and proactively identifying performance bottlenecks in systems and executing scalable solutions.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
* Liaising with business analysts and end users to gather and analyze business requirements and prototyping and developing system requirements, testing built solutions, and support system implementation;


* Designing, implementing and developing custom solutions on SAP systems SAP ECC, SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) and SAP HANA;

* 80% travel required.
