Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Core Business Operations, Cloud Engineering in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Advising on strategy and designing and implementing, migrating, and operating cloud solutions including cloud operations optimization, native development, integration, and as-a-service based services. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Evaluating clients' technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for client engagements. Developing and maintaining project deliverables for clients for all phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build the system functionalities. Researching user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of Cloud Integration Architecture, API and Microservice based Integration solutions for enterprise-level clients in the Pharma & Health care, Telecommunication, Finance and banking, and Airline Cargo industries. Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using SnapLogic, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, TIBCO, APIGEE and KAFKA API, Cloud solutions, Docker with Linux environments. Using IPaas Solutions, REST API based integration points, and Hybrid architecture for the design and development of solutions, including Cloud and on premise end points integrations. Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable statuses to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders using Rational Team Concert, GitHub, PVCS, and MKS integrity. Coordinating the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks. Using at least 4 of the following relevant tools/technologies in the performance of project-related responsibilities: TOGAF & SOA, SnapLogic, MuleSoft, DellBoomi, APIGEE, KAFKA API's, Salesforce API's, and UML Modeling tool Rational Software. Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments using Micro Services architecture, API Led Connectivity and SOA based designs. Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM degree or a related field


* Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
