Work with other development teams responsible for MathWorks' 100+ products to develop innovative solutions that provide a consistent experience across all of our supported platforms and form factors. This role requires an ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries.
* You will be responsible for designing and implementing features and foundation services that will be used in MATLAB, Simulink and MathWorks' 100+ products. * Work collaboratively with other teams to create requirements, design specifications and participate in code reviews * Identify ways to improve platform integration for the desktop, mobile, and cloud * Share your platform expertise with other teams through documentation, training, and support
* Experience with C++ * Experience with object oriented design * A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree) is required.
* Experience developing commercial software * Experience with native platform IDEs (Visual Studio or Xcode) * Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment * Resourceful and independent * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Knowledge of macOS, Windows or Linux platforms and APIs a plus * Familiarity with concurrent programming, threading, and synchronization a plus * Familiarity with SOLID architecture a plus
