Responsibilities

Summary.

The Senior Business Analyst will be a key member of the Title Data and Asset team within the Filmed Entertainment Technology division. The successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced and passionate team creating modern SaaS / PaaS solutions focused on Master Data Management (MDM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML), and Enterprise Search. This role works closely with business stakeholders and internal teams across our IT organization to ensure the successful delivery on key strategic initiatives. This opportunity provides exposure to a broad range of functional areas such as Production, Finance, Marketing, Studio Operations, and Analytics.

Responsibilities

* Drive all aspects of Title-DnA enterprise data matching
* Provide technical ownership on data engineering efforts to establish end-to-end integrations
* Work with business partners on data science initiatives to implement new Title-DnA capabilities
* Document business processes and measure key performance indicators to identify common themes and demand management insights
* Prioritize development activities based on business priority, facilitate project communication, and manage stakeholder expectation
* Prepare project documentation like meeting minutes, business process documents and other process workflow diagrams as required
* Lead Scrum meetings to help identify, plan, prioritize and assign project and support task requests
* Build and manage relationships with supporting IT teams within a matrixed organization in order to effectively deliver work products to production
* Work with business partners to develop acceptance criteria and a plan to facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure that the solution meets the business needs.
* Provide hands-on operational support to ensure system availability and troubleshoot production issues
* Participate with Business and Project Team(s) in planning and executing training programs and/or demonstrations related to the launch of new solutions.
* Proactively identify project risk and mitigation along with improving operational performance and reliability
* Stay current on industry trends, process improvements, and emerging technologies to help the team continue to be effective, efficient, and relevant
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

5+ years in business systems analysis with mastery of requirements gathering and process definition

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Well versed with relational database concepts, (SQL Server and Oracle). Knowledgeable in SQL and technical aptitude to advance skillset for ad-hoc queries

Hands-on experience with different analytical and reporting tools including Tableau and Microsoft Power BI

Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to utilize technology to create innovative solutions

Skilled in SDLC and project methodologies for software development and infrastructure projects

Good understanding of system architecture, infrastructure, integration, and software development processes

General overall understanding of database, network, storage, and compute infrastructure

Demonstrated track record of success in forging and developing trusted relationships across the organization - with key business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners

Ability to demonstrate initiative, work on assigned development tasks independently, leverage team members and resources as necessary, apply critical and creative thinking, challenging the status quo where necessary

Serve as part of a team that owns the production support with a large and diverse portfolio of applications, some of which are business critical with high visibility that occasionally require support into off-hours

Desired Characteristics

Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to perform well under pressure

Ability to work with minimal oversight toward aggressive deadlines and in high pressure situations

Ability to work collaboratively with remote teams across varying time zones

Experience in Media & Entertainment environment preferred

Experience with Master Data Management and/or Digital Asset Management systems preferred

Experience with Big Data / Enterprise Search technologies including Apache Lucene Solr, Elasticsearch, Spark, Databricks, and Neo4j

Experience with Agile management tools (e.g. Jira, Rally, Mingle, Pivotal Tracker)

Scrum Master and/or Agile certification is a plus
