FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Senior Build and Release Engineer in San Francisco, CA to facilitate the development of source code, trunk, branches and tags, in GIT and SVN repositories. Automate common tasks using Bash or Python scripting. Create build processes for numerous projects with multiple releases using Jenkins as Orchestration tool. Carry out artifact creation and storage using build tools including Ant, Maven or Gradle and package repositories including SVN, Nexus or Artifactory. Debug and fix build failures. Deploy build artifacts to development servers. Work collaboratively with Platform (Software Development) and DevOps team members in automation and streamlining of build and deployment Pipelines. Set up & upgrade build tools needed for Platform development. Plan and track work in agile process using JIRA and Atlassian tools. Document all the build and release process using tools including Confluence wiki. Work with near-shore and off-shore teams regarding build and release issues.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience performing improvement and automation of CI/CD release processes; integrating, deploying, and supporting internal tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, Fortify, SonaQube, Subversion, Github, and Puppet; deploying applications in container platforms; supporting in resolving build and deployment issues for Java and mobile applications; and utilizing tools including Java, J2EE, C++, Python.
