Job Description

We are currently seeking a Sr. BI Application Developer who will be responsible for end-to end implementation of BI projects with BI data models and dashboards developed using QlikSense/View or Power BI. The incumbent will work on multiple projects, train and support junior developers, assist in the development of requirements, specifications, work plans, develop best practices and provide guidance to researchers. This position requires a thorough understanding of data models, ETL procedures, scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development knowledge.

Duties will include: End-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) projects. Aid in development of written business requirements and technical specifications that include data source, content, connection methods, staging and target tables, security and end user access. Create and maintain technical design documentation, global data model, data flows and prototypes. Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) Processes into Target BI Architecture. Develop, implement, extract, transform and load logic to move data from the disparate source systems to a Business Intelligence (BI) Architecture. Document mappings, including transformation logic and ETL processes through multiple development environments and production. Develop and maintain quality assurance plans, testing plans and document results of unit and integration tests. Work with users to identify issues and resolutions. Design, Develop, Implement and Maintain Data Visualizations. Administer end user tools. Organize BI data for the end user, ensuring accessibility, ease of use and security, Build and validate dashboards/analytics.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. 3-5 years' experience required.
