EPAM's Financial and Insurance Services Practice is looking for exceptionally talented people to join our team of world-class engineers. Our clients are some of the world's largest and most innovative Financial and Insurance institutions of investments, banking, and wealth management.

EPAM has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technical Tester for one of our high-profile clients. This position will allow you to take control of the testing effort, design and plan functional testing, test execution, develop test automation, build a testing team, incorporate continuous testing, and be accountable for the testing competency.

What You'll Do

* Participate in Quality Assurance planning sessions
* Develop test plans
* Write test scenarios for existing and new functionality to ensure test coverage and application stability/quality
* Develop regression suites, develop automation scenarios, move automation to an agile continuous testing model
* Execute tests, run automation, provide test results in clear and detailed reports
* Log and manage defect until completion
* Optimize testing for effectiveness and efficiency
* Analyze workload and team size and on-board testing team as warranted
* Teach and train the testing team members on the testing solution and coordinate testing efforts with various remote team member
* Communicate testing expectations, assignments and responsibilities clearly and professionally to members of the testing team and appropriate upper management
* Find and evaluate new opportunities for additional testing and automation within the portfolio

What You Have

* Must be energetic and proactive a team player with aptitude and willingness to lead when necessary
* Bachelor's degree in any field with a minor in a computer science related field or five year of related software testing or development experience
* Must have previous experience testing Annuities, at least one year of previous experience with hands-on testing or automating annuities administration/management software
* Ability to evaluate, understand, and troubleshoot complex testing issues and solve problems with little or no supervision
* Technical QA skills (Quality Assurance processes, test planning, test execution, test automation, quality metrics and reporting)
* Ability to evaluate requirements/stories then develop test plans and test cases
* Functional testing expert having hands on experience with manual functional testing (desktop applications, web applications, APIs, mainframe applications)
* Hands-on experience planning and executing end-to-end testing
* Understanding of and experience with programming concepts in various languages (variables, parameters, data driven, and code flow)
* Experience with SQL (able to formulate queries, extract and evaluate data from database tables, able to write INSERT, UPDATE, and SELECT statements)
* Previous experience with test automation, previous experience with Web UI automation, previous experience with API testing manual or automation
* Experience with Selenium Automation
* Understand XML and JSON formats
* Knowledge of SOAP and REST testing tools
* Previous experience with object, data, or keyword driven test automation frameworks (development and usage)
