Job Description

The Sr. Associate, PM manages complex client engagements to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost and quality while maintaining a positive environment that promotes individual development and high performance standards.

The primary functions of this position include project management, client management, and team leadership. The Sr. Associate, PM is expected to play a variety of project support and team leadership roles while developing the skills and experience necessary to become a Manager. The most typical project roles for the Sr. Associate, Program Management consists of leading sub-tracks of work (3-8 people) as part of a larger project, or supporting more senior level project managers with day-to-day project leadership activities.

Responsibilities:

* Assist the pursuit team to complete RFP's, project scoping, sizing and pricing estimates
* Drive project delivery through effective use of internal and client status meetings
* Maintains awareness of the current industry environment that shapes opportunities for client solutions (i.e. news events, trends, mergers, etc.)
* Clarifies and communicates project objectives and success criteria.
* Assists Project Managers with day-to-day project management tasks or leads small and mid-sized tracks/projects. Develops and tracks project plans for individual tracks of work (as part of a larger project plan)
* Manage and control project scope and the change control process
* Assists Project Managers in managing client relationships and preparing for client meetings. Plans and executes client workshops. Develops relationships with appropriate client stakeholders. Provides day-to-day contact for client on track related communications
* Assure that projects complete according to schedule and within budget

Experience Guidelines:

* At least 2-3 years of project management experience, from an interactive agency
* At least 3-5 years of interactive industry experience
* Demonstrated leadership capability, preferably with leadership experience with teams of 3+ people
* Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
* Solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings
* Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, web technologies, web development processes and the delivery of solutions with creative and engineering components
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proven mentoring, and team-building skills
* Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience
* Education: Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent military experience
* Master's Degree preferred
