This Analyst will be helping Montefiore blaze a new trail in Telemedicine. Telemedicine requires a new set of configurations and support models for connecting Epic with Microsoft Teams into the clinician's workflow using Epic Hyperspace, MyChart, Haiku, and EpicCare Link. The Epic product specific build regarding scheduling and workflows of providers and patients, including the support models to achieve a successful implementation and ongoing support. The architecture will be EPIC MyChart, HyperSpace, and MS Teams (video platform). Your team will be working closely with EPIC Welcome and Happy Together teams on future growth to MyChart Bedside.

We are seeking a Senior Application Analyst for Telemedicine for our Patient Engagement team with MyChart

 

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Epic Senior Application Analyst - MyChart will join this exciting project to implement Epic software to Montefiore Medical Center. The Senior Application Analyst utilizes knowledge of the client’s clinical or business requirements, Epic application capabilities, and his/her advanced technical skills to implement and support applications. The Epic Senior Application Analyst will work on an Epic application team to implement an application such as inpatient or ambulatory clinical applications, revenue cycle applications or ancillary applications. The Epic Senior Application Analyst provides outstanding client service and contributes to the organization’s mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care.

 The Epic MyChart Senior Application Analyst will achieve in-depth knowledge of the Epic application and serve as a liaison between users and the Epic implementation staff. Additionally, the Epic Senior Application Analyst performs a thorough analysis of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with Epic software. This Senior Analyst prepares detailed requirements specifications and provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems and procedures that meet user requirements. The Senior Analyst will review and test new releases and document all outcomes of testing and serve as the support contact for the application. This position has responsibility within all phases of the application implementation including design, build, test, installation, and maintenance of the application. 

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Minimum of 3-5 years working in a related clinical technical position
* Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Application Builds and Go-live, along with extensive experience in implementation, workflows, troubleshooting, testing, and support experience
* EPIC Certification is required - MyChart, with preferred Ambulatory or Healthy Planet (*if candidate does not have upon hire, we will send you for training and certification within 3 months of start date)
* Project Management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflict, maintain issues list, and manage a project plan).
* Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Knowledge of clinical area or business area to be supported
* Programming or other technical skills beneficial
* Experience dealing with end users
* Demonstrative understanding of technical documentation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Professional written and verbal communication skills
* Strong knowledge of workflows
* Excellent critical thinking skills
