Job Description

Generally, designs, security systems solutions ensure proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected. Provides technical services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Participates with the customer and Internal IS to translate security and business requirements into processes and systems # Responsibilities: Accountable for the IS functions that grant system access for most clinical systems and business systems such as email. - Assigns system access and onboards new Medical Center employees - Performs Moves, Adds and Changes to System Access upon request as hospital workflow changes. - Interfaces with all levels of hospital employee. - Communicates effectively and swiftly concerning system access to optimize worker productivity. - Maintains good knowledge of hospital systems to be able to effectively prioritize requests. - Analyzes basic business needs and recommends process improvements for smooth turnaround on requests. - Accepts direction from Senior IS Desktop Support Analysts - Works on assignments where considerable judgement and initiative are required in resolving problems or in making choices, recommendations, or decisions. - Defers to Desktop Manager for guidance on business matters. - Contributes to IS and customer success through quality and accuracy of own output. - Verifies conformance of documents with standards. - Assesses completeness of detailed requests. - Identifies roadblocks to task completion and effectively brings them to management for resolution. - Generally uses existing procedures to resolve standard problems. # # Requirements: Bachelor#s degree in Information Services or related field required.# A+ Certification a must required, MCP, MCSE, CNE or Network+ certification preferred. ITIL certification preferred. 2+ years of relevant experience required. Basic ability providing quality service to the user community and effectively managing their business needs. Basic troubleshooting skills as it relates to Security Admin tasks and requests. Basic understanding of the fundamentals of system and network access. Basic knowledge of processes and resources required to perform analytical and technical security tasks. Basic understanding of customer service techniques to interface with customers. Ability to communicate routine technical issues in simple terms. Ability to prioritize competing demands. Team orientation and proven ability to work across boundaries up and down the organization. Good problem solving and writing skills.. Ability to navigate through routine technical problems across disciplines and departments.# Assists in establishing and maintaining user access to information resources. Develops approaches to address critical system access issues. Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements.
