Job Description

What You'll Get to Do:

Independently, under minimum supervision, the Security Systems Administrator will provide support for classified national security systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Configure/Manage PCs located in various secure areas to include troubleshooting/repairing, installing new software applications

Perform weekly/monthly anti-virus and system patching for Windows/Linux based operating systems

Coordinate Software/Hardware installation and upgrades

Troubleshoot/repair PC/Network problems

Assist Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with preparation of System Security Plans (SSPs)

May develop automated software scripts for parsing high volumes of data

Perform security reviews to identify security vulnerabilities and develop processes to mitigate risk

Initiate corrective action and reporting related to security incidents, violations, and Insider Threats

Assist with the development of security awareness and training material in support of the Insider Threat and Information Security Programs

Reliable and consistent attendance required

Travel to other locations or customer sites as necessary

Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to company policies and procedures

Perform other duties as required

If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level to perform the job

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Education:

Associates Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 3 years related work experience.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years' experience as a systems administrator or related work experience.

Experience with approved to process classified information including working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), and Risk Management Framework (RMF) preferred.

Required Skills:

Fundamental computer science and/or networking expertise, including a working knowledge in one of the following: IP Networking, cyber security, or software development.

Basic knowledge and understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and WSUS

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux software applications and other software applications as required.

Ability to architect and design IP Networks

Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: This section should include and preferred or desired qualifications or attributes.

At least one active Department of Defense 8570 IAT/IAM Level II Certification such as the CISSP or Security+

Active TS, TS-SCI, or TS-SCI with Polygraph security clearance
