Role Description

The Dropbox security team is responsible for securing data at a massive scale. Over half a billion users and 300,000 teams trust us to keep their private data safe. We are a multi-disciplinary team with a wide variety of skills and responsibilities including Linux, macOS or Windows systems security, network security, application security (web, desktop, mobile), and overall security architecture. Responsibilities

* You will create and operate security tooling and scripting
* You will locate weak points by breaking into systems
* You will build monitoring, detection, and alerting capabilities
* You will find innovative and creative solutions for our unique security needs

Requirements

* BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience
* 8+ years of industry experience with a focus on Security
* You are a team player who is considerate of others
* Enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment
* You use excellent interpersonal skills, on both technical and non-technical issues
* Desire to take Dropbox even further
