Job Description

Program Manager for Largest Software Company in Downtown San Jose

* Must have Security Experience

This position is responsible for managing all phases of the project the successful completion of IT projects on-time and within budget.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:

Manages small to medium sized projects throughout all phases of the project life cycle Creates and manages all project communications and documentation as required to complete the project Acts as the single point of contact for all project information and statuses Creates and maintains project milestones and details in project management information system

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties or responsibilities that may typically be assigned to this position include but are not limited to:

Comfortable interacting and presenting project information to all level of the organization Promote sound project management practices through the department and the organization. Performs business and data analysis to support projects in the IT portfolio Creates test cases and participates in testing as required Performs feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis to determine the best approach to projects

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or experience required. * Bachelor's Degree in technical field or equivalent experience
* Minimum 3 years IT Project Management Experience
* Experience managing projects through the SDLC
* Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in a matrixes environment
* Experience with security hardware (badges, doors, coordination with vendors for maintenance and new builds worldwide
* PMP Certification a plus
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization while functioning as a team player.
* Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
* Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications
