In this position you will join the team responsible for the security certification and evaluations of Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. This team works at a system level spanning across hardware, software and infrastructure while striving for industry-leading solutions. This team interacts with HW/SW engineering teams, the Qualcomm security lab, third party evaluation labs and evaluation authorities to successfully complete security evaluations of Qualcomm products. This work will expose the candidate to all aspects of Hardware and Software Security design including architecture, IP development of cryptographic and other Security IP, security counter measures, and certification requirements. All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications 7+ years HW/SW Security Engineering and Certification or related work experience The successful candidate has a strong background in security concepts and implementation techniques. Deep knowledge of security attacks and countermeasures, both hardware and software based. Able to develop vulnerability analysis, identify and evaluate potential security threats, holes, and propose countermeasures to engineering teams Strong expertise of both FIPS and Common Criteria security evaluation processes and documentation. Experience with Common Criteria Certification under smart card protection profile highly desired. Experience with reverse engineering techniques for security assessment Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms (SHA, AES, DES, ECC, RSA), their implementation methods and use models within high level protocols, is expected. Experience with complex SOC integration and HW/SW IP development process from architecture spec to qualified silicon.
