Job Description

Amazon's Offensive Security Team is looking for a manager for its Red Team in New York to lead a talented team of engineers tasked with raising the security bar of Amazon through vulnerability discovery, disclosure and mitigation. This role presents the ultimate test of one's security knowledge, the challenge of building and running a team with high visibility throughout Amazon, and the opportunity to mentor and grow a group of highly talented security engineers.

As the leader of the New York Red Team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that Amazon is continuously tested and ready for an attack from threat actors. You'll be guiding the team to focus on the systems, services and processes that protect Amazon's most valuable resources, communicate with leadership, legal and service teams, and build adversary-focused engagements with InfoSec's Threat Intelligence and Risk teams. You'll be part of an organization focused on positively influencing security culture within Amazon, with the ultimate goal of ensuring the continued safety and security of our customers.

The Red Team has a broad scope and purview, all of which is focused on positively influencing the culture of security at Amazon. Focused on protecting Amazon's retail assets, the Red Team will follow any path necessary to discover unknown problems and drive mitigation.
