As a Security Engineer based in Irvine, you will be a key member of the Security Engineering team, who will provide expertise in designing, engineering, and deploying security solutions in support of enterprise-level security initiatives. The Security Engineer requires technical expertise in designing and implementing secure enterprise level solutions, strong knowledge of security protocols and APIs, strong relationship and consulting skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work on multiple concurrent engagements.

Responsibilities:

* Participates and maintains security standards across security capabilities (Identity and Access Management, Application Security, Data Security and Privacy, and Security Monitoring)
* Contributes to the planning, requirements gathering, design, and engineering of security solutions across the risk and technology portfolio
* Plays an important role in designing implementation strategies for encryption of data and data privacy
* Evaluates multiple hardware and software technologies designed to protect information
* Understanding on the creation/implementation of secure networks, firewalls and intrusion-detection systems
* Understanding common network attacks, attack methods, and network defense architectures
* Defining, developing, and implementing new security components and integrations
* Providing awareness and education around technical techniques to address vulnerabilities
* Providing techniques and patterns for securing integration with external vendors or cloud providers
* Responding to complex security incidents and escalations, performing advanced analysis and troubleshooting, and resolving incidents

Qualifications:

* Experience with .NET and Java security development frameworks and knowledge of commonly used security protocols
* Experience with secure coding and development practices
* Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Kornshell, or Powershell a plus
* 1+years expertise with design, development, and deployment of complex highly available distributed .NET applications and integration solutions
* Experience working with security protocols and standards like SAML, WS-Security, SSL/TLS, PKI
* Knowledge of OO design methodologies, patterns, best practices
* Understanding of infrastructure technologies and deployment processes as they relate to middleware and security
* Experience with .NET architecture (CLR, GC, and C# programming)
* Experience with C++ development a plus
* Ability to estimate, plan, lead and execute complex technical projects
* Responding to complex security incidents and escalations, performing advanced analysis and troubleshooting, and resolving incidents
* Provide end-to-end operational excellence and support for the platforms in the team portfolio, including Dev Ops, on-call, disaster recovery
* Experience with release management automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery a plus
* Understanding of SIEM/Splunk, Tableau and behavioral analytics a plus
