Position Description

* Under supervision assists in performing system administration, troubleshooting, documentation, and deployment of Identity and Access Management (IdAM) platforms.
* The IdAM Practitioner will have knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server environments to include knowledge of current supported Windows Server Versions, Microsoft Certificate Authority services, and Group Policy application.
* IdAM Practitioner is responsible for installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related IdAM infrastructure.
* IdAM Practitioner will have knowledge of Privileged Account Management (PAM) processes and applications.
* Ability to coordinate and cooperate as a team.
* This individual supports the organization�s technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the IdAM infrastructure.
* The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
* Monitors environment using existing tools to respond to potential issues and troubleshoot or escalate as required A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
* Executes test procedures to assess systems performance, identify and troubleshoot difficult or unusual problems, and analyze results.
* Performs preventive maintenance and upgrade on the IdAM platforms.
* Anticipate, mitigate, identify, respond to, and resolves issues affecting messaging systems performance, efficiency, and availability.
* Support deployment of Virtual and Physical Smart Cards Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts and associated Windows Certificate Authority; Root CA, Subordinate CA, Certificate Templates, and permissions
* Understanding of �least privilege� and managing Privileged Accounts using CyberArk or similar industry standard application suites Familiarity with Card Management Systems (CMS), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Smart Cards, Virtual Smart Cards, Trusted Platform Modules (TPM), One Time Password (OTP), Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (SMIME), and Pretty Good Privacy (PGP)
* Reports to Supervisor

Qualifications

* Requires a Bachelor's degree within Information Technology or Information Security
* 0 - 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
* Windows Server 2012R2, 2016 a plus Security + certification a plus Windows certifications a plus
