Security Administrator

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 4 months

Description:

Role and responsibilities

* Act as the primary IT Security Point of contact for the Aptiv Mobility Division
* Participate in day to day Mobility Initiatives, solution planning and designs to provide insight & direction from an IT Security Perspective
* Provide Security guidance and expertise to the Mobility Group
* Perform risk assessments of initiatives, projects & proposals
* Collaborate with the project & security teams, to help with problem solving, solution design & risk mitigation
* Collaborate with the wider Security function, to ensure alignment with Aptiv policies, standards and processes
* Co-ordinate with Aptiv Security team and involve specific Security Domains SME's when needed, to participate in solution designs & problem solving.

Qualifications and education requirements

* Industry recognized IT Security qualification desirable
* Minimum of 6 years' experience in IT Security, ideally with experience working in a large enterprise organization
* Technical experience and Subject Matter Expert in at least one security domain of Identity & Access, Cloud Security, Application Security, Infrastructure, Networking, Device Management

Preferred Skills

* Experience with Risk Management & Governance
* Experience working in a fast paced & agile environment with the ability to manage & effectively prioritize multiple and evolving tasks and activities
* Proactive communication skills both oral and written
* Experience dealing with Senior Level executives a plus
* Possess critical thinking and creative skills to solve issues and improve security & operations
* Project management skills a plus
* Ability to maintain effectiveness in varying environments - be flexible to changes
* Capable of working well under pressure and meeting deadlines
* Organizational Awareness - Perceiving the impact and implications of decisions on various components of organization
