Forcepoint is building out a new world-class UEBA analytics engineering team in Boston. The Boston team will be an important part of the global analytics engineering team. This team is responsible for ingesting, processing, storing, and analyzing cybersecurity data. In this role you will work with product, project management, developers, data engineers, and data scientists to continue the development of our flagship analytics product within AWS. As Scrum Master you will have a keen interest in technology and how it enables the business. The successful candidate will be confident to engage with the key business representatives and technical stakeholders with the ability to constructively challenge ideas and influence change across the wider group. In addition, you should also have good organizational skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills, working well with others across group and department boundaries. This is an exciting opportunity to work with experienced professionals within an innovative space.

Responsibilities:

* Be an accomplished Scrum Master, with new and innovative ideas, passion and ability to motivate and inspire the assigned scrum teams and associated leadership.
* Give guidance and influence others to ensure scrum team success.
* Ensure releases are delivered successfully by partnering with peers locally and globally.
* Facilitate accurate and up to date status of project health and quality with the wider team.
* Reporting on progress, roadblocks and timelines with stakeholders.
* Enable effective planning and execution by working as part of the engineering team.
* Collaborate with peers working on integrated solutions across multiple Scrum teams.
* Align dependencies across external teams to ensure timely delivery.
* Works in a structured manner, while fostering creativity and new ideas.
* Be a key driver in process adherence as well as process improvement.



Skills & Qualifications

Must have:

* Bachelor's degree
* 2+ year's software development experience.
* Development Team Leadership Certification; PMI-ACP, CSM, CSP, CSPO, CSD, SAFe, etc.
* Experience facilitating a development focused Agile team.
* Excellent communication skills and proven ability to establish and effective relationships across diverse sets of stakeholders.
* Proven application of one or more agile methodologies. (Agile Scrum, Lean/Kanban Extreme Programming (XP), Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM), Feature Driven Development (FDD), etc.
* Demonstrated experience of continued improvements while delivering successfully.
* Maximize the team's effective time with minimal interrupts.
* Prior experience working in a commercial development environment: best practices for development, agile, schedules, processes, defect management, code management & continuous integration environments & formal quality practices.

Nice to have:

* 5+ years in a Development Environment.
* Bachelor Degree in a Relevant Discipline
* Experience in cloud technologies and services.
* Understanding of security concepts: encryption, secure application development, defensive programming, software vulnerabilities and exploits, general issues in web security.
