Job Description

This position is a project leadership and management role. You are responsible for increasing team efficiency, motivation, and reducing any roadblocks to quality and timeliness. The Scrum Master monitors the scrum processes and meetings and ensures the DoD (Definition of done) is being followed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Guide the team and organization on Agile/Scrum practices and values.
* Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and coaching them to higher levels, at a pace that is sustainable to deliver with quality.
* Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, team meetings.
* Build strong communication channels and interface with internal/external stakeholders on a regular basis.
* Remove impediments, or guide the team to remove impediments, by identifying the right team member to accomplish this.
* Support enterprise wide initiatives to reduce costs and transform our project approach, including process design and execution.
* Lead the development of effective key project performance indicators to show the value creation and execution against our strategic goals
* Strongly serve and support the Product Owner and Development Team in the Agile development process.
* Guide and Coach both the Scrum Team and the Development team on how to maximize the potential of self-organization.
* Share knowledge and help grow the capabilities of the team through presentations, mentoring, and coaching within your implementation team.
* Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgment, with an emphasis of problem solving.
* Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining, grooming, and managing the product backlog.
