Position Description:

Government experience with opportunity to deliver strong agile development management skills in a collaborative and client facing environment. The person who fills this position will be joining and leading a dynamic team with a local California client to implement front-end website solution in a public sector agency. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the country implementing similar projects and have a mentor to gain experience on CGI's Delivery excellence in our software development processes and methodology

Your future duties and responsibilities:

FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Scrum Master assists the scrum teams by facilitating a hybrid waterfall / agile development process for each project component work stream. The Scrum Master works to proactively identify scrum team roadblocks and resolve them efficiently with the project team and with the client. Manages the scrum teams in accordance with the project management best practices to monitor and track status and feedback on development efforts.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Required Qualifications:

1. At least five (5) years of management experience delivering projects in an Agile environment.

2. At least two (2) years of experience serving as a Scrum Master.

3. The Scrum Master must hold a valid Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

1. Holds a Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner certification or Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional certification.

2. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

* Offer or must submit a copy of degree in its offer for compliance with this requirement.

3. Has at least two (2) years of experience managing one (1) project having at least two (2) concurrent scrum teams. If the years of experience exceeds more than two years, the better.

Other Desired Qualifications:

Managerial skills, client focused, consistent and effective team and client communicator, quality work products, detailed oriented, collaborative, team oriented, lives in or near Sacramento, industry experience in government preferred, cloud services.
