The SCRUM Master will function as one of the top functional experts and play a key role in how we move forward in building the rest of our team. Be one of our leaders and help drive the appropriate use and implementation of technology to achieve strategic business goals for our next generation CCH Axcess software suite of products.

The Scrum Master manages multiple Software Development projects with one or more Agile software development teams to successfully deliver multi-tier SaaS solutions on time, with high quality and that delight customers. Works collaboratively with product owners, Dev and QA team members, management and other Agile teams to achieve product delivery goals. Coaches and educates team members on Agile best practices.

Responsibilities:

Servant Leader with a passion to help Agile teams thrive and deliver high value to the organization.

Experienced SCRUM Master that has worked with teams delivering complex, multi-tier SaaS and cloud-based software solutions on time, with high quality and that delight customers.

Schedule and lead Big Room Planning, Program Increment refinement, sprint refinement, Scrum of SCRUMs, sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile and quality ceremonies.

Coach, mentor and educate team members on Agile best practices and process improvements.

Implement quality up front initiatives and champion/support organic process and micro-improvements with Agile teams. Understand priorities of initiatives and features from Business and Architectural Product Owners.

Build and maintain relationships with other product and architectural teams, and in partnership with technical staff and members of management.

Work with other Agile teams, their Scrum Masters and Product owners to ensure alignment and act together toward common goals.

Demonstrates continuous growth and improvement through learning from others and bringing fresh ideas to the team.

Creates, maintains, and shares metrics, team tools, burn-down and burn-up charts, progress dashboards, etc.

Tracks metrics that are important to the success of the team and its delivery, and to help with continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in software development.

Requires 3+ years' experience leading Agile Software development teams through multiple release cycles.

Must be a proven SCRUM Master for Agile software development teams with a successful track record of delivering multi-tier SaaS solutions on time, with high quality and that delight customers.

Experience scheduling and leading Scrum of Scrums, sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.

Effective problem-solving and risk management skills.

Lead groups to consensus and drive open times to closure.

Able to analyze critical information and present recommendations to team and to leadership.

Able to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

Takes ownership for projects/tasks and drive results for the project.

Shows energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude.

Conduct effective meetings that are punctual and have clear objectives.

Experience with and effective at planning for and managing cross-team dependencies.

Experience coaching and educating team members on Agile best practices.

Experience implementing quality up-front initiatives within Agile teams.

Ability to work collaboratively with product owners, team members and management and other Agile teams to achieve product delivery goals.

3-5 years Project Management experience in an enterprise commercial software development environment preferred.

Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies.

Experience working with teams who develop on the Microsoft stack preferred.

Strengths in planning, organizational navigation, and building / managing cross-team relationships.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) -- Scrum Alliance and Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification is preferred.

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and experience a plus.
