Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a cleared (Secret) Scheduler/Project Manager to support our federal customer who plays a key role in providing direct cybersecurity engineering support. This program provides systems and security engineering and integration support to specific Government-sponsored projects, pilots and prototypes. This includes solution planning and engineering, defining security requirements, target architecture, interoperability and integration, system testing, Verification and Validation, Modeling and Simulation, studies and analysis, post-deployment security validation (PDSV), and project risk management.

The Scheduler/Project Manager will work closely with the Program and Project Managers to perform weekly updates to the integrated master schedule and other scheduling activities. The Scheduler/Project Manager duties include: Determines, monitors, and reviews manpower requirements. Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources. Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements. The Scheduler/Project Manager may assist Project Managers in analyzing new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components; Providing applications systems analysis and programming activities for a Government site, facility or multiple locations; Preparing long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities and for necessary support resources and general project oversight.
