We are currently seeking a SAS Data Integration Studio Programmer for our client in the IT-Services domain. Role Description: The SAS Data Integration Studio Programmer would need to have at least 3-5 years of experience. For this role, you must be a SAS Programmer to program ETL using SAS Data Integration Studio and SAS, manage large amounts of data, identify and establish data relationships, and deliver well-organized, relational structured output.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field, such as Economics or Engineering. * Must have at least three years' experience in building and maintaining SAS Data Management Advanced jobs (preferably the 2.7 release) using SAS Data Integration Studio. * Understanding of relational database design and experience using a database query language (such as SQL) is desirable. * Exposure to data transformation or string-manipulation scripting languages is preferred. * Experience with formal testing processes is a definite plus. * Must have strong analytical skills as well as effective communication skills and a desire to work in a team environment. * Expert in extracting from and loading data into SQL Server databases (2008 or higher) using SAS Data Integration Studio. * Experience with data editing and cleaning, as well as efficient coding to deal with large quantities of data by building repeatable processes. * Familiarity with questionnaire data development in social science or marketing research is a plus. * Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, team oriented, organized, and can juggle multiple assignments with minimum supervision.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent. MS preferred
