General Purpose of Position:

SAP S/4HANA Basis Expert who has done 5+ full life cycle implementation and atleast one S/4HANA system conversion. This position analyzes computing requirements and consults on change release process and will lead, execute and manage all technical aspects of SAP system landscape including design, installation, upgrade/patching, change management & Production support.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

* Define and manage the deliverables of functional team to meet engagement objectives and budget
* Hands-on experience with development objects
* Analyzes business/ functional requirements and prepares development project schedule, tasks, and estimates. Leads coding and other activities as necessary.
* Performs technical design and documents technical specifications. Ensures compliance of developed solution to underlying solution architecture.
* Leads daily collaboration efforts with project team members to identify issues and risks associated with the design, implementation, and delivery of assignments.
* Accountable for design and code reviews, and resolution of defects.
* Support the application development efforts, unit testing, create technical specifications, conduct code review, create and manage transports across SAP Systems.
* Develop test plans and automated scripts to assure expected performance quality levels meet standards in development efforts. Analyze root cause and provide solutions for production and development issues.
* Contribute to knowledge base of the SAP Practice
* Prepare and present status reports, and technical analysis of relevant issues
* Able to identify and discuss client expectations as relevant to own area and monitor and report on delivery of what was promised

Skills and Experience

* 10+ years of SAP experience as an SAP Basis consultant and 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA Basis experience
* At least five SAP end-to-end implementation experience and at least one S/4HANA system conversion experience
* SAP BASIS and S4/HANA administration and technical core competencies for tasks including installations and upgrades, problem determination and resolution, software patching, support package application, performance tuning, and project sizing.
* Participation in multi-landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations, and client strategies
* Administer SAP implementations and upgrades in multiple environments including S/4HANA, Fiori, CRM, ECC, BI, Business Warehouse, Business Objects, Portal, and Solution Manager deployed on SAP HANA.
* Responsible for the design and implementation of the Portal landscape upgrades and patches.
* Provide analytical skills to evaluate system performance, system health checks, and implementation of tuning improvements.
* Provide technical expertise and participation in technical projects across multiple teams.
* Interact with other IT groups to support IT infrastructure requirements.
* Responsible for documenting the design and landscape of all SAP environments.
* Cloud Provision and working experience for SAP. Azure experience preferred

Education and or Training

Undergraduate degree required in math, computer science, engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus (preferred).
