SAP NS2 Secure Cloud Support organization is seeking a Software Support Engineer for the Success Factors suite of products.

Brief Description:

In a Support Engineer role, you are required to have understanding of the enterprise software development life cycle as well as hands-on programming and diagnostic skills. You will perform detailed, root cause analysis on customer issues to determine causality and propose solutions. You must have the desire and ability to work independently on complex issues, and to collaborate efficiently with internal experts to resolve customer issues quickly.

Description:

As Software Support Engineer at SAP NS2, you have ongoing responsibility of resolving the most challenging, critical, technical issues. At SAP NS2, this is a highly valued role because you will be the 2nd level, Software Support Engineer to ensure customers are successful. The role requires software development and diagnostic skills as well as strong customer relationship and communication skills. You will work closely with critical customers in the Federal, Defense, Intelligence, and Finance community to maintain fully-functional, high-performing solutions in a production environment. This includes leading scheduled calls with customers as well as responding to critical issues as they arise. You will be the technical bridge to other internal organizations, and work alongside the various solution stakeholders in order to address code issues, Cloud Operations and environment issues, as well as working with customer's solution engineering teams

The technical skills required include:

Hands on technical diagnostic experience

Code level debugging experience across multiple development platforms

Configuration and support of enterprise software applications

Network tracing experience with applicable tools (Wireshark, etc)

Knowledge of Tomcat Application server

Knowledge of Windows and Unix server operating systems

Knowledge of PL/SQL, including the ability to optimize SQL queries

Knowledge of SAP HANA DB, troubleshooting and performance optional, but preferred

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, MIS, or Software Engineering strongly preferred.

Experience Requirement:

2-3 years' of administering and troubleshooting enterprise level applications; or Bachelor's degree as stated in Education requirement.
