Job Description:

SAP FICO Business Analyst (R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company; Warrenville, IL) Analyze data processing problems in order to support the Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules of SAP as implemented and the employees that use these computer systems. Analyze SAP FI and CO systems user requirements, procedures and problems to improve existing SAP systems, and review computer system capabilities and workflow. Evaluate, design, and implement solutions in SAP FI and CO modules. Configure and provide daily support of SAP FI and CO modules that are implemented. Design and implement new programs, modify existing programs, and develop interfaces. Assist users in determining the best method for data reporting through standard reports, table downloads, ABAP query, or customer programs. Work closely with programming and technical staff to develop program enhancements and new programs. Work with accounting staff to understand needs, develop testing plans, and provide training for new and existing processes. Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal processing. Define application requirements by reviewing requests and conducting user interviews when needed. Create design and training documentation for new functionality and projects. Gain user approval by developing system prototypes to present to users for their review. Communicate project status by creating written status reports on predetermined schedule for large development efforts. Troubleshoot user issues to restore normal functioning. Research SAP OSS and implement OSS notes. 40 hrs/wk, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. (Job # 44340).

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field, plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible experience in SAP support focused on Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) financial modules.

Of the required experience, must have at least 5 years of experience in each of the following:

* SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) configuration in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets;
* SAP FI and CO configuration in cost center and profit center accounting;
* Researching and implementing SAP OSS notes;
* Designing and testing programs, and gathering business requirements, including data inputs and outputs, formats, reporting requirements, and business objectives;
* Interface design, testing, and support with legacy systems that connect to SAP;
* Creating project documentation, including business process flow diagrams, volume studies, SAP process flow diagrams, system diagrams, unit test scripts, integration test scripts, user acceptance testing plans and scripts, and functional requirements documents;
* Providing help desk support for user issues and questions;
* Providing end-user training on SAP FI and CO processes; and
* Applying the SAP ASAP project methodology on SAP projects, including Project preparation, Blueprinting, Realization, Final Preparations, Go Live Support, and Operations.

Of the required experience, must have at least 2 years of experience in each of the following:

* Integrating FI and CO modules with materials management (MM) and fixed assets (FA) SAP modules; and
* Providing full life cycle implementation of SAP.
