Overview of Role/Job Purpose:

The SAP Back Office Consultant will provide SAP Device Management, Work Management & Mobile Workforce Management expertise in both project settings and ongoing operational support roles. Collaborate with both client and other team members to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deploy solutions. Support sales efforts as required to develop RFP responses, attend sales calls, demo SAP, and assist in staffing model development for potential opportunities. Train and mentor junior team members, assisting them with SAP learning and general consulting skill set development.

This person will be an SAP SME for the Device Management, Work Management & Mobile Workforce Management functional areas. This person will utilize their in-depth consulting skills, team leadership experience, functional process knowledge, business knowledge, and CR&B packaged solution expertise to design, implement and deliver business processes within the Device Management, Work Management & Mobile Workforce Management functional area of the VertexOne solution.

Skills/Requirements

Duties:

* Support full life cycle engagements, participating and leading the Device Management, Work Management & Mobile Workforce Management functional areas through all aspects of a CIS deployment.
* Design, Configure, Test, Train, Deploy and Operational support of the following back office components:
* Consumption Management:Creation & maintenance of device and device categories, material management (material master configuration - creation of reference material in MM and assignment), Registers, device installation, removal and replacement, Device monitoring, Meter reads, Usage Validations & Implausible, EDM processes including creation and storing of historic, forecasted and planned consumption profiles, price intervals creation and validation, profile management including consistency checks, replacement value procedures, advanced metering data management (import, export, change, updates and display of profile data), work order management ( service work orders including maintenance of device- install/removal/transfer, unplanned meter reads etc.), CIS Service Order Lifecycle, integration of ISU Work Management and Plant Maintenance Modules.


* Provide ongoing operational support to clients. Receive task assignments from the SAP Coordinator and work to resolution within the SAP Application Management team Designs and configures SAP security roles.
* Provide sales support to SAP Practice leadership and Vertex sales associates. Provide specific content pieces as assigned for RFP response development, participate on sales calls, and provide expertise for scoping and modeling with regard to back office processes within Device Management, Work Management & Mobile Workforce Management.

Skills/Qualifications:

* 5 - 7 years of hands on SAP IS-Utilities Device Management, Work Management configuration, implementation and support experience
* Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis on information technology, business, or accounting
* SAP IS-Utilities Device Management configuration / support experience. Must be hands-on experience with all aspects of configuration of SAP IS-U Device Management.
* SAP IS-Utilities Work Management configuration / support experience. Must be hands-on experience with all aspects of configuration of SAP IS-U Work Management.
* Experience in integrating 3rd party Mobile Work Force Management Solutions or SAP Mobility solutions
* Ability to evaluate impact of configuration or process changes across other SAP IS-U CCS modules.
* Ability to resolve configuration and functional business issues across SAP processes. Ability to work closely with clients to find solutions and identify business process improvements.
* Strong communication skills required; written, verbal, and strong interpersonal skills.
* Can speak to referenceable functional roles on CR&B (IS-U) implementations
* Demonstrated cross functional ability
* Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, fast paced team environment

Advantageous skills

* Knowledge and experience with other SAP modules or CIS solutions
* Familiar with other cloud, SaaS solutions
* Leadership experience managing teams, client relationships, leading projects

Travel

* This position may require between 25% to 75% travel
