Job Purpose

National Grid IT team is currently seeking an innovative, adaptable, and results-oriented SAP Conversion/Development Tech Lead with acustomer-centric design thinking practices, experience in standard Waterfall & Agile/Lean software development methodologies. This role will be responsible for managing and delivering any project/program related data conversion and technical development activity. This role will will be leading and managing an organization of developers (in-house and contractors) for development as well as data conversion activities. This role will report to the Director of Solutions Development within the National Grid IT organization.

Key Accountabilities

* SAP conversion lead required with experiences in both data conversion and data migration projects
* Experience migrating data between SAP ECC 6.0 and Salesforce
* Hands-on Experience with CRM middleware setup and tuning is a must.
* Hands-on experience with loading data for all ISU data objects, including their replication to CRM is a must.
* Ability to plan end to end data conversion activities, including data extraction, cleansing, transformation and uploads.
* Ability to raise risks and issues to technical lead.
* Ability to work with functional teams to develop requirements for data migration effort
* Ability top lead technical team and offshore vendor team

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or in related field; Master's Degree preferred
* 10+ years of SAP Data Conversion experience.
* At least 7+ years of experience working in the technology industry; At least 2 years of experience in SAP ABAP Skills
* At least 2 years of experience in software development life cycle; At least 2 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
* At least 2 years of experience in Design and architecture review; At least 2 years of experience in software development life cycle.
* Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment; Experience migrating/converting data from legacy applications to a new application environment.
* Experience with requirements gathering, data mapping, data cleansing, and performing data source gap analysis.
* Experience with conversion specifications documentation, designing conversion components, developing conversion standards, development and execution of SQL-based scripts, functions, and/or packages to support data analysis, developing end-to-end conversion test plans, executing conversion test cases, documenting conversion results, and tracking and resolving conversion defects.
* Hands-on implementation experience in SAP and the cross-function relationship between modules for forms, reports, interfaces, enhancements, BDC, LSMW, BADI, BAPI, workflow and other development work
* Core development skills that include PL/SQL, SQL, UNIX/Linux, SQL*Loader, ETL; Thorough knowledge of Agile software delivery models (Kanban, Scrum, etc.); Ability to promote and role model a team-oriented environment
* Ability to lead technology teams in different locations in the US; Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills; Highly developed oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
