COMPANY DESCRIPTION

SAP started in 1972 as a team of five colleagues with a desire to do something new. Together, they changed enterprise software and reinvented how business was done. Today, as a market leader in enterprise application software, we remain true to our roots. That's why we engineer solutions to fuel innovation, foster equality and spread opportunity for our employees and customers across borders and cultures.

SAP values the entrepreneurial spirit, fostering creativity and building lasting relationships with our employees. We know that a diverse and inclusive workforce keeps us competitive and provides opportunities for all. We believe that together we can transform industries, grow economics, lift up societies and sustain our environment. Because it's the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve people's lives.

Senior Change Manager

Background:

Over the last 20 years, computers and information technology have undergone several key changes. From the advent of personal computers, to the internet, smart phones, cloud computing and now serverless infrastructure. With the advent of each of these shifts, companies have had to rework, adapt and improve their development and release models to take advantage of these new technologies.

Today, SAP Concur faces a challenge of maintaining older software stacks running IIS web servers with manually provisioned virtual machines in a datacenter, as well as containerized java applications running on autoscaling clusters in the public cloud. Not only do we run both of these stacks, but many others in-between. The challenge is to define guidelines and tooling that enables teams to track, manage and automate all of the many requirements they must satisfy in order to develop, test, secure, package, deploy and run their applications in these different environments. In addition to doing these things for the public, SAP Concur is also taking the US Department of Defense as well as several other public sector clients into the cloud era. This leads of course to even larger security and management challenges.

The Role:

Join the Release & Change Management team here at SAP Concur and become an integral member of the team running a top tier SAAS organization at scale while defining the future of SAAS for Public Sector (Department of Defense). Then utilize your expertise and passion in Release, Product and Change Management to help define and drive the adoption of new guidelines, mandates and tools that enable teams to run as self-contained units. Our goal is to help teams in whatever their current state is, to become end to end development teams capable of everything from design and code to release and runtime, without having to go back to school or hire a whole new team.

During this process, you will work with R&D Leaders throughout the organization. You will be a key member of the team responsible for helping to define and enact the new development culture here at SAP Concur. Help SAP Concur move from SAAS 1.0 to SAAS 4.0 and define the new standard for the industry!

Role Requirements:

* Proven past experience with FedRamp Medium/High frameworks.
* Proven experience with medium to large scale delivery pipelines.
* Knowledge of multiple change management strategies and approaches.
* Ability to coordinate and organize many dependencies across multiple organizations
* Strong communication in person, in writing and presenting to peers as well as executive leadership.
* Strong problem solving skills across disciplines.
* US Citizen - Due to Federal Security requirements

Not required but highly desired

* Experience in Public Sector software offerings.
* Scripting and Technical experience with tool building
