The team

Cloud Engineering

Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our client's end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.

Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience, and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

Work you'll do

Work with our clients to gather requirements, document solution design, configure the Salesforce application, and work towards successful engagements and project go-lives through disciplined project management.

* Design customized solutions, which map to the force.com platform to satisfy client business requirements
* Develop custom components, triggers, and pages using APEX and Visualforce
* Perform data migration using Salesforce.com Data Loader
* Design of security model using permission sets / profiles
* Use Force.com IDE to deploy and migrate applications
* Build and manage dashboards, views and reports
* Integrate application with third party systems

Qualifications

Required

We are looking for professionals with in-depth hands-on work experience with the following:

* 5+ years of experience with custom Salesforce.com development including Lightning UI, APEX language, Visualforce, creating Lighting Components, etc.


* Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, relational database principles, and operating systems


* Development experience with JSP/ ASP, Java, HTML language is desired


* Experience working in agile methodology


* Willingness to travel 80 - 100% of the time (Monday - Thursday/Friday)



Preferred:

* Salesforce Platform Developer II and Community Cloud Certified
