Position Summary

Insulet, makers of the OmniPod pump for Type 1 Diabetes, is one of the fastest growing medical device companies in the industry and we are expanding our SFDC Development team! Insulet has been a SFDC customer for many years, and as a result, leverages many of the features provided by SFDC. This role is a great opportunity to engage in project delivery across a broad range of elements such as Service cloud, Health cloud, Marketing cloud, IoT cloud, Communities and more. Working in a dynamic, collaborative team environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Insulet's Commercial functions through the implementation of new SFDC solutions and maintenance of existing functions. The SFDC Developer will focus on projects and processes related to our mobile/web community, call center support, marketing automation, data management, and sales/field rep modules. The ideal candidate will have at least a SFDC administrator certification, along with 1-3 years of SFDC development experience in a work environment.

Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain custom solutions on force.com platform using Apex and Visual force
* Develop and support new apps using lightning framework for internal and external users
* Support on-going production Global SFDC instances for business continuity
* Maintain proper documentation for work flow processes, list of values, migration plans, and standard operating procedures in accordance with business requirements.
* Communicate effectively with IT leaders and/or business users on the status of enhancements, projects and open production support tickets.
* Occasional off-hour support of production applications/processes should issues arise outside of business hours

Education and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

* 1-3 years working as a SFDC developer, preferably in current position or has done so in a recent position.
* Candidate must have some knowledge of custom salesforce development including apex, visualforce, lightning, basic administration, workflows, reporting and general design concepts.
* Knowledge of any Object-Oriented Programming language (java or .net) is required
* Working knowledge of SOAP and REST webservices is a plus
* Working knowledge of XML or JSON is a plus
* BS in an IT-related discipline such as Computer Science, web development or equivalent experience.
* Preferred experience supporting or working with a Commercial organization in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or any other regulatory controlled industry

Physical Requirements:

* General office environment, may sit for long periods of time.
* Domestic travel may be required less than 5% of the time.
* Infrequent weekend/offhours work will occur for implementation go-live or support when needed.
