Duties & Responsibilities

Energid Technologies develops advanced software and robotic systems for the aerospace, agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, defense, and medical industries. Energid's Actin® software is a powerful control framework and operating system for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical robots that is sold as a cross-platform application and extensible software toolkit. Energid specializes in the control, simulation, and sensing of complex robotic systems.

Energid Technologies, a Teradyne Company, has an opening for a Robotics and Software Development Co-Op|Intern

As a Co-Op you will work alongside Energid's senior product development, applications and R&D engineers on advanced robotics projects. Projects will be centered on the development and application of Energid's Actin software framework for real-time adaptive motion control. Actin is applied to the most challenging robotics industries today including collaborative, surgical, and space robotics.

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

The ideal candidate is a student who:

* Is in a graduate program (preferred); junior and senior level undergraduate students will also be considered.
* Possesses a good working knowledge of programming principles, including C++.
* Demonstrates a basic understanding of robotics concepts.
* Has excellent communication skills.
* Shows creativity, drive, and a passion for robotics.
