To provide technical based customer service to walk in customers. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate technical information in ways novice to expert computers users can understand. Patience and a friendly demeanor is also required. This position reports to Store Manager and Service Manager/Supervisor.
Requirements and Description:
* Previous technical and repair experience is a must. * Ability to troubleshoot and repair Macintosh and Windows based hardware and software issues. * Must enjoy meeting people and communicating with customers. * You have a burning desire to solve technical issues. * You can communicate technical concepts in layman's terms. * You have a sense of urgency but also the ability to keep your cool under pressure. * Ability to turn around customer repairs as quickly as possible. * Being a "go-to" person for other store employee's. * Having passion about customer service and a commitment to exceeding expectations. * Apple Certified Mac Technician or A+ Technician required. Both preferred but not required. * Assist with customer service and sales transactions as needed. * Other tasks and/or duties as may be assigned and/or be necessary. * Lifting 25 to 50 lbs. and working in various environments required. * Ability to delegate and/or complete all store related activities as necessary.
