Job Description

Description:The selected candidate will perform in a senior-level position on the F-22 Low Observables team, within the Special Technologies IPT, within the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG). After a period of familiarization, this will include a role in setting priorities for team activities, managing workflows, interfacing with the customers and test labs, and engaging in data analysis tasks.

Candidate must have extensive experience in Radar, LO Materials, and/or Radar Cross Section (RCS) management. Must show a propensity to quickly grasp the complex issues inherent in the analysis of radar images of stealthy aircraft. Must have demonstrated the capability to be a leader among highly-skilled technical engineers. Must have experience in presenting and explaining results to a wide range of experience levels from senior leadership to technical experts. Must have demonstrated the capability to communicate and coordinate with Government customers.

Activities on the team may include a variety of Radio Frequency (RF), radar, and materials tasks in support of our advanced aircraft. As a member of this team, you will participate in RF signal processing algorithm development and data analysis. You will collaborate with aircraft design, maintenance, and special material experts to identify new approaches to Low Observables Technology as applied to IFG aircraft. You will also work with System Effectiveness subject matter experts to identify approaches for improved aircraft survivability. In summary, you will be expected to work with and improve challenging technologies that are critical enablers of our aircraft capabilities.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have existing Secret Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

* Experience in dealing with outside customers
* Experience in signal processing for Electromagnetic and Infrared systems.
* Experience in mathematical modeling of physical systems.

Desired Skills:

* Experience creating software algorithms from physical descriptions of phenomena.
* Electrical Engineering degree preferred
* Previous RF, radar, or LO materials experience is highly desirable.
* Understanding of basic RF principles and the basic physics of Electro-Optical / Infrared (EO/IR) sensors and observables.
* Computer programming experience and understanding of

analytical/numerical solution of complex systems of equations.

* Experience with Database manipulation and Linux / Windows Operating Systems.
* Experience working independently and in a team environment.
