Role Description

This report developer will need to demonstrate proficiency developing SSRS reports based on business requirements for a variety of audiences and analytical purposes. Candidates will work collaboratively other analytics teams, and business stakeholders to create, maintain, and support SSRS reports and contribute to OSH's internal analytics function.

Responsibilities

* Develop, test, and deploy new and updated reports to production environment
* Work with existing data warehouse and semantic model (cube) to write queries that will provide data to reporting solutions; DAX query experience preferred
* Design and develop report mockups and prototypes
* Meet with business analysts to review reporting requirements and propose appropriate solutions
* Obtain sign off from business stakeholders
* Work with new technologies to provide state-of-the-art analytics to business users
* Perform testing and QA to ensure the accuracy of reports and compliance with requirements
* Collaborate with other OSH teams to develop reports as part of larger application or analytics initiatives
* Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training, and documentation across applications
* Develop and maintain operating procedures and support documentation for reports and the SSRS infrastructure
* Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for SSRS reports and their operation
* Other duties, as assigned

What we're looking for

We're looking for motivated, experienced "position" with:

* Experience developing sophisticated SSRS reports against complex data sets
* Proficiency in Microsoft SQL query writing / stored procedure generation
* Ability to read other's SQL queries and make changes/updates as necessary
* Experience diagnosing and resolving errors in complex reports
* A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment
* Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Analytics, or related field
* More than three (3) years of relevant work experience
* Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team
* Release management and planning experience
* Ability to take ownership of a project and see it from end to end
