Meet Our Team:

Come work with Pega's Robotic Automation engineering team! As a Release Manager you will work with multiple development Scrum teams to orchestrate the release of our core products. Working closely with development operations, engineering, product managers, and business stakeholders, the Release Manager will lead the way to successful releases of our top-rated, state-of-the-art business process automation product suite. Come work with the Senior Director, Robotics Products to own the release lifecycle, which includes scheduling, coordinating, and managing all releases.

What You'll Do at Pega:

* Own the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the organization for multiple applications
* Partner with leadership from Engineering and Product Management to manage deadlines and risks
* Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
* Lead status meetings to track development progress with constituents all the way up to the company CEO
* Communicate status and process updates to all members of Engineering and Product Management
* Act as a liaison between the development teams and other teams throughout the company
* Orchestrate and perform technical facilitation of important builds such as milestone releases
* Maintain release process documentation (e.g., software development lifecycle, release checklist, etc.)
* Coordinate with the release engineering team to complete the release checklist when a product is ready to be released to customers
* Develop and maintain meaningful reports to track progress toward release
* Conduct release retrospectives to develop and implement ways to improve our release process from release to release
* Closely monitor the continuous integration builds and aggressively drive issues to resolution
* Provide a weekly summary report on the build health, common failure themes, and recommendations for improvements

What You've Accomplished:

* BS in a technical field
* 5+ years relevant experience
* 3+ years combined experience in development, project management, testing, or software architecture
* Advanced knowledge of all software lifecycle development disciplines - Project Management, Analysis & Design, Quality Assurance (Testing), Implementation, Deployment, Configuration & Change Management
* Demonstrated experience managing releases in an agile/scrum development environment
* Detailed oriented, with excellent project management skills
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, expert level knowledge of Excel, and expert level knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar tool
* Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence and persuasion
* Ability to build and maintain real, workable partnerships across organizational lines
* Ability to work with high-performing teams and challenge them to improve even further
