Job Description:

THE POSITION

Cylance is seeking a penetration tester with experience with Web Applications You will be responsible for leading efforts to find and document security vulnerabilities through approved penetration testing efforts for securing the clients environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Lead internal and external security assessments and penetration tests, including mobile, web applications, web services, wireless and network penetration tests.
* Lead penetration tests against systems of extreme complexity, writes reports documenting report findings including all vulnerabilities, potential issues, and strengths found during the test.
* Manual exploitation of found network and device vulnerabilities, such as default passwords, unpatched and misconfigured systems. The ability to demonstrate the business risk and impact of infrastructure vulnerabilities.
* Scanning of web applications and web services using automated tools such as WebInspect
* Manual exploitation of found web application vulnerabilities, such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting. The ability to demonstrate the business risk and impact of application vulnerabilities.
* Explain findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Advanced knowledge of mobile application testing techniques, software, protocols and the ability to bypass common mobile application security controls
* Expert level understanding of offensive and defensive security, including offensive evasion and defensive detection techniques.
* Expert knowledge of Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top 10 Vulnerabilities. testing procedures, and remediation recommendations
* Participation in community and industry security forums/events
* Advancement of business and technical knowledge through independent study, formal training and certification
* Expert using, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering Kali Linux, Mac OSX, and Windows OS
* Ability to work collaboratively on and integration and development team
* BA or BS degree
* Local, or willing to relocate to Plano, TX

ABOVE AND BEYOND

* Programming skills in AWS and familiar with Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS/CLI and/or Docker.
* Experience in cloud security and full lifecycle implementations
* Proficiency with common scripting language(s) such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or Perl
* DevSecOps background
